Yarmouth Rowing Club

Adult

The Club program is designed for experienced rowers. Members sign up for rows based on schedule, style, technical, and goal compatibility. A member orientation is offered periodically throughout the year to familiarize new members with the equipment, club procedures, and the river. 

Although we do not offer rowing lessons, we do welcome rowers with strong interest and some related experience. Each year, we form several novice boats who are informally coached by other members.

Youth

The Youth program offers competitive rowing to high school rowers in grades 9 - 12. There are both spring and fall racing programs. The Youth program practices daily, tide permitting, with a coach, coxswain, and a launch. No prior experience is required to join the spring program. The fall program is open to experienced rowers. Sculling

For a fee, members can store privately owned singles and doubles at the rack at Yankee Marina on the Royal River or, if space is available, at the Cousins River facility.
