Fresh PRESSURIZED water is finally here. A new pump was just installed on the water collection tanks that makes cleaning the boats easier and faster.

Don't forget that there's plenty of great local racing this summer. Check out the Maine Rowing Association website for details.

A few mid-season reminders from our president and head coach:

  • Before you leave the dock, please check rigger bolts (including top nuts) for tightness.
  • Take care racking the boats, and use the oarlock covers where provided. The racks are tight, but if everyone is paying attention, we can avoid damage.
  • Wash the boats after EVERY use. There is a new pump on the water tank which makes this easier, but please be aware that it uses much more water, so be conservative.  PLEASE UNPLUG THE PUMP AFTER THE LAST CREW USES IT.
  • Keep rowing!  If you are time flexible, don't discount afternoons and early evenings. When you set up rows, please be sure that you enter the correct time on the scheduler.
